Well I have finally found a small amount of time to upgrade Joomla to 1.5.

It hasn't been easy as I had some other plugins that were no longer being developed for 1.5

At the same time I've moved my website to a hosted server. As much as I've enjoyed the challenges of running my own servers, the power bill has been mounting. And finding the time to maintain the servers has been hard.

My plan is to move the remaining websites off the servers and shut them down.

There may be some links not working on the site, but I'm slowly getting them fixed. Using sh404SEF for Joomla has made that task easier.

Finding a way to integrate Gallery2 was the biggest issue in upgrading to Joomla 1.5, I know Gallery2 is a bit long in the tooth these days, and not very "Web 2.0" but it does the job, and allows me to upload directly from iPhoto on my Mac. I searched for something else that would work with Joomla, but all the others had clumsy upload interfaces and would not work well with over a handful of albums, especially the flash based ones.

My other option I looked at was Gallery3, which looks good, but still no decent Joomla integration yet. Perhaps once there is that will be my next upgrade.
